Ann-Marie,
Please accept our condolence for the loss of Vance. I am deeply indebted to Vance for many wonderful things in my life. I always remember him singing and leading us in singing: "This little light of mine". Let it shine he did all his life. He led me to a career with the USDA that I loved for over 28 years. Thank you, Vance.

Dear Ann Marie and family, how saddened we were to hear of Vance’s passing. He was a great man, a great teacher and a great friend. He spoke of the love of his family every time we talked. Vance once gave me the book, The Prophet, and introduced me to the writings of Kahlil Gibran. One of my favorite quotes from him seems appropriate: “And ever has it been known that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.” We will miss Vance dearly. Carol and Glenn

When we were kids and later on in our adult life, we have many memories and think of him often. Ann Marie, thank you for your kind response to our earlier email. God Bless you and your kids.

To all the family:

I was the Clerk to the Board (Administrator) when Vance was on the Board of Appeals and even after leaving he would catch up with Deana and I and take us to lunch at Christmas time. He was the most caring person. I also remember when my ex-husband Kevin Dooley was in hospice and Vance went to visit and prayed for him. It's hard to understand why so many that do so good get taken before their time.

Ann Marie Remillard and family,
I'm so sorry to hear that your husband and father passed away. Even though I have not seen Vance since he was ordained in 1967, I have thought of him many times when discussing my mother's family. My mother Antoinette was a sister to Cecile Perreault. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Love and blessings, Elaine

Dear Ann Marie, Ronnie, Renee and Family,
We will miss our great and dear friend, Vance. This has been a long and rewarding friendship that we will continue to treasure. His memory will be cherished for years to come. The poet Yeats once wrote," Count where man's glory most begins and ends, and say my glory is, I had such friends." We send our deepest heartfelt sympathy and love to you and Alana, Luay and Laith also.
Friends Always,
Bruce and Karin and Family

I will truly miss such a treasure of a man. Always positive. Always present to help. I worked with him for years but truly got to know him on our annual fishing trips to Branson. I am sure he is regaling his new friends with some awesome fish stories.
The big one never got away from you, buddy.

Mrs. Remillard, Renee, Ronnie and family I am sorry for your loss. Mr. Remillard was always a parent that the neighborhood kids loved. He always watched out for us as we passed the house heading down to the rec area and when we came back to make sure we were all okay. I am truly grateful for that as I look back as I grew up for those adults that had a vested interest in the kids.

I spent ten years as a classmate of Vance from high school to theology. He was a great guy; made me laugh a lot. At our 50th high school reunion we talked a great deal about the values we learned from the Capuchins; especially always caring for all of our fellow man. My best to his family.
