Lorene was and remains my favorite sister. On April 9, 2016 was the last time I spoke with Neillie Lorene... although Nellie was her first name for as long as I can remember she preferred to called Lorene....the last time I spoke with Lorene one question I asked her was if she knew the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She was weak, having little desire for food or water for days....with effort she turned her head toward me, took a deep breath and said Yes....I.....Do!.... This is a comfort to me and should be to all who know that Christ is who He said He is and that He keeps His promises....She is missed .But she is no longer in pain or discomfort.

Mom loved you more than words can say. The void (we both feel)from her loss is immense! The relief of knowing we will be reunited again is powerful!

We are saddened in our hearts to hear about our Aunt Lorene. It’s time like this that makes us focus on the importance of Family. Most of my memory of our Aunt is the one my Mom (Mildred) talks about. It the memories and the stories that are told from here on out that will keep her close to our hearts.
May the Lord be close and comfort the family during this time.

Sorry to hear about Aunt Lorene. We had some good time when she was here when Grandma Irene was sick. She needed a car to drive I let her and my mom (Mildred) use the van. Mom said she didn't about her sister driving. Because she was a postal driver. She made quick stops.I think all in all that is a good memory for my Mom and I.
