Charles Robert "Buck" Sheckels

Charles Robert “Buck” Sheckels of New Carrollton, MD, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Prince George’s Hospital Center in Cheverly, MD, at the age of 79.  Buck was born on November 28, 1936 in Washington, DC to the late William Howard Sheckels and Edith Marie (Thompson) Sheckels.

Buck is survived by his wife of 46 years, Suzanne M. Sheckels; four children, Jenny Sue Sheckels, Robby Sheckels, Frances Sheckels and Matthew Sheckels; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Janet Marie Divver; brother, Frederick William Sheckels; daughter-in-law, Krystal Sheckels; sister-in-law, Becki Battisfore; brother-in-law, Corky Battisfore and a host of nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents Buck was preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Sheckels; sister, Jean Search and brother, William Sheckels.

The family will celebrate Buck’s life at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
