Sweet Suzy. I am sorry sorry to hear of Brad's passing. I am heartbroken for you, your beautiful kids and your mom, and for his mom and family. He was such a dear man. Meeting him at Adam's wedding and having you all be there was a gift. I know he must have felt like the luckiest guy on earth having such a loving family. Wish we lived closer and could've gotten to spend more time with you over the years. Hang onto those special times you all shared as a family, and hang onto your faith; I guarantee you will get through this. My love to you, your family, and a big hug to all. I still see that beautiful smile of yours, even through the tears. God's blessings to you, and if there is anything I can do please let me know. You always have a place to stay if you head west to Colorado. My number is 303-469-6440. Please give your sweet mom a big hug too. Love you.

Kirkendall Family & Friends, though we didn't know Brad, we were able to share our spirits recently at Mrs Handy's 85th birthday party. As he pushed the wheelchair of another guest on the dance floor, you saw his loving spirit. Brad is fine...remember the memories - he's smiling! Greg & Pamela Hayes

I will always remember the fun loving, selfless, spirited and adventurous person that Mr. Kirkendall was. Words cannot describe how appreciative I am of everything he has done during my time here in Maryland. He lit up every room he walked into and I feel so truly blessed to have known him. He was always there to save the day. From fixing the cars to cracking jokes to nearly taking down our staircase just for a bed, he will never be forgotten. Sending my thoughts, prayers and giant hugs your way.

I was a childhood friend of Brad. I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I will praying for you all. May the God of love comfort you during this time.

The first time I rode a mini-bike was Brad's behind the Kirkendall barn. I couldn't stop it and I wrecked it, without a hard word won by Brad. I have very found memories of Brad and the Kirkendall family.

Suzy my love, I am in shock and so sad to hear this news. Great times and long lasting memories come to mind about all of the good times we had. Some with our men and families, others just the girls, where we helped each other go back to our beloveds (refreshed and happy) once we poured out our eye-rolling "men" stories. I'm particularly remembering the fantastic New Years Day breakfast tradition! All of us bleary eyed and exhausted but you two put on the best food, with smiles. My heart and my prayers are with you and your families, wishing you didn't have to go through this at all. I pray the years of memories and the beautiful children you've raised will carry you through the loss. Much love, sympathy and friendship to all of you. God Bless. -Selena.

I know words are inadequate at a time like this but I wanted you to know how very sorry I am for your loss. The loss of a spouse and father is a tragic event and I know the pain and suffering you are experiencing. Your children are such shining examples of the great job that both of you did in raising them. They will be a constant reminder of his love and influence on them.
Brad was a wonderful person and was well thought of by everyone who knew him.
I pray that God will give you the strength to see you through this sad difficult time. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all.
