I may not have known her personally but I feel like I came to know her through your stories that you shared with me. i know that she was a beautiful and loving woman because it shines so much through you. It will be a long road but with your strength you will get through this. Take your time in grieving, always say her name and remember the light she brought into everyone's life.

My heart goes out to Ms. Mary and her family in the passing of their beloved mother. She was a kind, generous, compassionate and loving person. She preached love and happiness and would often put her needs behind the needs of others. She has passed these values to her children and to everyone she has ever loved and blessed with her presence. I pray that rest peacefully and that her family has the strength to recover from their loss and to continue to celebrate her life and all the blessings that she has brought to this world.

Mami Vicky, was a woman who, despite living in a culture where women often fade into the background and are told to be subservient to their fathers and husbands, taught her sons to respect women and treat them as equals. But she didn’t just say it. She walked the walk and demanded respect from everyone she met and worked with.
She was a woman who wanted the best for her children, even if it meant they would live far away.
She was a woman who you would aspire to be, if you didn’t already know you could never attain that level of goodness without a divine intervention.
She was and is my mother, the amazing woman who gave me two brothers and two sisters far better than anyone deserves.
Nothing I could write could describe the type of person my mother was. I hope I can live up to that and live a life she would be proud of.
Rest in peace mom, and thank you for everything you’ve done for me. You truly left the world better than you found it.
Thank you God for giving me the mother that was assigned to me, a virtuous woman who touched my life in so many ways and the lives of others. Your daughter

I was lucky enough to have grandma Vicky in my life for 5 wonderful years. There were many reasons she shouldn't have welcomed me into her life, yet she did. Not only did she welcome me with open arms, she loved me as though I was her grandaughter and she was my grandma. This past year had been a hard year on her and the rest of the family, but she stayed strong for herself, her children, and her grandchildren. I know she was ready to see her husband, but never wanted to leave her family. She was the glue that held us all together (and she knew it too). She was/is/and will always be such a warm and wonderful woman. It hasn't been easy for any of us since having to say goodbye, but I know she is watching over each and every one of us. I love you abuelita, I am going to miss you very much. I am glad you are finally at peace. Thank you for loving me.
