Nellie Lorene (Endicott) Carbaugh a longtime resident of Maryland, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at her residence, at the age of 82. Lorene was born on February 15, 1934 in Wichita, KS to the late Lewis Jewell Endicott and Irene (Lewellen) Endicot.
After graduation from High School, Lorene attended Secretarial School retiring as a bookkeeper from Gischner Iron Works. She then went on to work for the Bowie Post Office as a Rural Route Carrier and retired in early Spring of 2005.
She is most remembered for her commitment and devotion to her Family and Church.
Lorene is survived by her daughter, Sharon L. Niblett; five grandchildren, Maureen McDonough Johnson, Branden Niblett, Cindy Loving, Danielle Parrott and Jamie Vasold; three great grandchildren, Mikaela Loving, Kelsey Niblett and Dawson Vasold; sister, Mildred Bosley of Walnut, KS and a brother, Ron Endicott of Bridgewater, NJ. In addition to her parents Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, George Simon Carbaugh; daughter, Nena McDonough and son, Jimmy Carbaugh.
The family will receive friends at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Thursday, April 21, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help off-set the final cost of medical expenses.
