William "Pop" Francis Stivers Sr.

William "Pop" Francis Stivers Sr. was born on November 26, 1934 to the late William T. Stivers and Henrietta McCracken Stivers in Baltimore County Maryland. Pop was a lifelong resident of Odenton, Maryland. He was a maintenance worker at the Odenton Plastics Plant where after 44 years he retired. He then took on the job of being a full time grandfather. He was a follower of Christ at the Calvary Community Church of Riva. He enjoyed racing, fishing, bowling, listening to bluegrass music, and riding his tractor. What he found the most joy in was spending time making memories with family and friends especially his grandkids and great grandkids. 

In addition to his loving parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Emma Hubbard, sister Helen "Mintie" Likens, sister Joyce Goetz as well as some very loved in laws and extended family. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Bill Stivers (wife Gayle), Grandchildren, Will Stivers (wife Crystal), Lauren Stivers (Kevin Mitchell), Shane Stivers (Alissia Miller), Great Grandchildren, Cameron Koons, Elliott Mitchell, and Ella Stivers, Brother Richard "Rick" Stivers, Brother Ernest "Ernie" Stivers, Sister Shirley Benson, Sister Sue Finley and all the many people who's life Pop touched.
