Susan D Siriram

Susan Drupatie Siriram of Gaithersburg, MD, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at the Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, MD. She was 64 years old. Susan was born August 16, 1959, in Freeport, Trinidad. She was the daughter of the late Samlal Resal and Phulbassia Bisnath Resal, and the granddaughter of Toi Bisnath and Sumaria and Resal Emrith.

Susan was the light of her family. She worked fervently to build a wonderful life for her husband, children and grandchildren, who were her whole world. Spending time with her two grandchildren, Christiana (Lovey) and Aryan (Ari), brought her great joy. Her dedication to them was always demonstrated by the time, consideration and effort she gave to their wellbeing and happiness.

She was known for her outspoken nature, her sense of humor, impeccable style and beauty, and her unparalleled ability to bring family together and create memories. Much of the beautiful memories that the family has shared over the years are a testament to Susan’s efforts. We remember Susan as a person who looked for, appreciated and grasped the beauty in the world around her.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband, Vishnu Siriram; her three loving daughters, Melissa, Samantha and Amanda (Anish); her two grandchildren, Aryan and Christiana; and her siblings Sabita (Shaffiath), Veena (Wendell), Baby, Shirlyn (Premchand), Vijay (Chandra), Paula and Trevor. Her memory will further be cherished by her extended family, including her nieces and nephews, Rishma (Anil), Darren (Kristen), Bernard (Claudia), Timothy (Crystal), Randall (Christine), Lisa-Marie, Miranda, Brandon and Jessica.

A funeral Service will take place at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The cremation will be private.
