In Loving Memory of Mrs. Surinder Kaur Grewal (wife of Late Mr. Charanjit Singh Grewal)

May 15, 1948 - October 18, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Surinder, who left this world on October 18, 2023 to join the eternal light. She was born on May 15, 1948 and was a source of joy, wisdom, and full of love to all who knew her.

Our mom was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her life was a shining example of Sikh values and spiritual principles, which she embraced with unwavering faith and dedication. She touched the lives of countless people with her kindness, love, and selflessness.

She was a compassionate soul who never hesitated to extend a helping hand to those in need. Her generosity and commitment to seva (selfless service) were unparalleled as she never met someone without touching their inner soul. She dedicated her life to serving her family, community, and the gurdwara, where she found solace and strength.

Mom was a beacon of strength and resilience, facing life's challenges with grace and determination. She was a steadfast pillar of support for her family, always offering guidance and love to her children and grandchildren.

Her legacy will live on in the memories of all those whose lives she touched, especially her children and grandchildren. Surinder is survived by her loving children - Deep, Priya, Sheena, Satyam, Amrita, along with her four grandchildren - Ambar, Rehan, Nuri and Amryn. She has a wide circle of relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home (1411 Annapolis Rd, Odenton, MD 21113) on Tuesday, October 24 at 10 am.  Live Stream will also be available on https://my.gather.app/remember/surinder-grewal

A prayer service, Bhog, in remembrance of our Mom, Surinder Kaur Grewal, will be held at Guru Nanak Foundation of America on October 28, at 4pm-6pm, where the community will come together to pay their respects and offer their prayers.

May her soul find peace in the loving embrace of Waheguru. She will forever be missed and remembered for her boundless love, kindness, and devotion to her faith and family.
