Savitri Chaudhry

Savitri Chaudhry, 86, passed away in Potomac, MD on September 9, 2024.

Born on April 1938 in West Punjab, British India, daughter of Mr. L. R. Thakur and Mrs. Krishna Thakur, she lived in New Delhi, India and Lansdale, Pennsylvania.  She worked as a high school teacher until retiring in 1974. Savitri Chaudhry was a member of Brahma Kumaris for 50 years and was an active member of YMCA for over 30 years.

Savitri Chaudhry is survived by her son, Sanjay Chaudhry, daughter in law, Ranjana Chaudhry and grand daughters Nisha and Pooja Chaudhry.

Services will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Rd, Odenton, MD  21113 at 11 AM on September 15.  Cremation will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home at 1 PM.  Relatives and friends are welcome to attend services as well as lunch which will be served subsequently at the Chaudhry residence.  Please contact Sanjay at 304-281-4027 with any questions.
