Natasha “Tasha” Renee Harris, tragically passed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 30. Tasha was a lifelong Maryland resident, born on June 26, 1994 in Baltimore, Maryland to Tammy Rey and Dwight Harris. She was raised in the Severn and Glen Burnie areas with her younger sister, Izzy. Tasha had one daughter, Nadia (age 6) who she deeply adored and was her entire world.
Natasha graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 2012 and began to pursue her dreams at Anne Arundel Community College. She graduated with her Associates degree in nursing in 2016 and began her career as a pediatric registered nurse. She furthered her education, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland. Natasha was actively in the process of obtaining her Masters degree as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Natasha was an avid and lifelong learner, and achieved high accolades in her academics; she continually looked for ways to further her education and expertise.
With a true passion for working with women and children, Tasha then transitioned from her role as a pediatric registered nurse. She began her dream career working in maternal care, starting off as a labor and delivery registered nurse. Natasha’s most current role in her tenure as a nurse was on the mother baby-unit at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, a position she truly cherished. Natasha’s passion as a devoted and loving mother didn’t end with her dearest Nadia; she found true joy in working so closely with birthing and postpartum mothers in their most vulnerable moments in life.
In her spare time, Natasha loved spending time with her daughter and family, reading, cooking, and trying restaurants with her friends and coworkers. Natasha was a beautiful young woman with a soul that shined. She had a gentle, “motherly” and loving demeanor. Her selfless nature continued even in her transition; Natasha gave the gift of life by being a tissue donor through Infinite Legacy.
Natasha was preceded in death by her loving grandfather and grandmother, Ronald and Judith Mosco.
Natasha is survived by her beloved daughter, Nadia, her sisters Isabella “Izzy” (Adrian); Nikita (Johnnie), Dizza (Dominic), and Tamara; brothers Dwight, Dorsey, and Terrence; her mother Tammy and father Dwight; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Natasha was deeply loved by many and will be greatly missed. As a family, we appreciate all of the continued support and prayers during this difficult time.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
