Marion Sushko Obituary

On May 18, 2021, Marion Frick Sushko of Odenton, MD, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 95.  Born on December 7, 1925, in Florida, to the late Max and Helen Frick.  Devoted wife of 61 years to the late Albert R. Sushko; beloved mother of Anita Pahl (husband James), Carol Collier (husband William), Leigh-Ann Rinehart (husband Dirk), Eugene Sushko (wife Linda) and Edward Sushko (wife Lucy); cherished grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 14.  Before starting a family, Marion worked as an Administrative Assistant for the United States Army. A talented knitter, she made over 1,100 baby caps for the newborns at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Marion was also known for her delicious chocolate chip cookies, which she baked for the Coast Guard Station in Annapolis for over 20 years. Her husband, Albert, would bring them to share with all at the station while he performed his weekly radio watch duties as a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Marion was also an animal lover, as she enjoyed spoiling her dogs and her grand-dogs.
