Maria Alexandrina Webster Farley

Maria Alexandrina Webster Farley, a resident of Hanover, MD, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at her home. Maria was born on February 26, 1941 in Panama and was the daughter of the late Alexander Oliver and Jane Cunningham Oliver. She grew-up in the Maranon neighborhood in Panama City, on 21st & 3rd of November Street.

Maria attended the Capilla La Candelaria Catholic Church in San Fernando, where she lived after residing in Paraiso Canal Zone for almost 20 years.

Aside from being a homemaker, she was also a seamstress and a caterer.  She would be remembered for her famous fruit cakes and delicious Easter buns.

Maria was a loving and caring person who took in family members, friends, and strangers alike and made each of them feel as if they were a part of her family.

In addition to her parents, Alexander and Jane Oliver, Maria was also preceded in death by her two husbands, Ernest H. Webster and Vernon F. Farley; two step-children, Reuben Webster and Virginia Webster; two sisters, Pauline Oliver and Josephine Williams; and three brothers, Livingston Oliver, Eddy Oliver, and Joseph Oliver.

Maria leaves many memories to be cherished by her three loving children, Vicente V. Farley, Lorenzo S. Webster (Lilia), and Marta E. Coxkelly (Alfred); a son by another mother, Ricardo Wallace; one sister, Claudette Oliver, sister-in-law, Viodelda Hoshing; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and countless family friends.
