On December 30th, 2020, John (“Jack “) Nicholas Frasco passed away in his home at the age of 81. Jack was born on April 8th, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Charles Frasco and Francis Marion Muirhead. Preceded in death by his wife, Charlene, and his brother Charles, Jack is survived by his three loving sons, Nicholas (Alexandra), Anthony (Jo Dee) and Daniel (Barbara). Jack is also survived by his adoring grandchildren Vincent and Victoria and his sisters Mary Jane Ray and Sally Long. Jack attended Washington Vocational Tech High School in Pittsburgh before serving honorably in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960. Upon completing his naval service, he started his working career as a model maker in Gibsonia, PA before moving his family to Maryland in 1973. He began working in the printing industry until he retired in 2018 from the Government Printing Office. Jack was a cherished friend, could be known to be a prankster and his hobbies included golf, reading and gardening. He was involved with local sports programs of football, baseball, basketball, boxing and swimming and was a coach to many young men over those years. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, and as a survivor of colon cancer, donations may be made in Jack’s honor to the American Cancer Society. A Celebration of Life service will be planned at a future date when social gatherings are safe and permissible. Please sign the guestbook if you wish to receive information.
