On June 19, 2022, Henry Douglas Ford passed away peacefully at the age of 78. A recent resident of Hanover, Henry lived in Severn for over 30 years. He is survived by his loving daughter Pamela Row, his caring former wife, Linda Ford-Lopez, and his dear sister Joyce Graham. He was predeceased by his brothers Herbert and Jonathon Ford. Born in Crawford County, Pennsylvania, Henry proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1964 to 1984. His service took him to Vietnam, Korea, and Germany. After he retired from the military, he continued to work for the U.S. Government for another 16 years before retiring a second time.
Henry enjoyed bowling, ping pong, watching baseball, and very much loved his pet cats over the years. A “shadetree mechanic”, he liked to work on cars and would often help his neighbors. When he was able, he enjoyed attending church and bible study.
