On February 26, 2021, Gloria Lorraine Rogers, a resident of Severn for 49 years, passed away peacefully at home.
Due to the pandemic, a memorial celebration of her life will be held on a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Gloria was happiest spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed canoeing, camping and walking on the beach. In her spare time, she liked making ceramics, stained glass, cake decorating and other craft hobbies. She especially enjoyed working with her 3-year-old classes at the Severna Park Children's Centre. She was also active in Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts when her children were growing up. Her High School Reunion Committee was something she continued to be part of over the years, enjoying the friendships of her "lunch bunch" group.
