On July 23, 2022, Ellen E. Heinicke (Klein) of Severn, MD (formerly of Riverdale, MD) passed away.
She is survived by her daughters Theresa “Teri” Heinicke and Traci LaMar (Roland); her grandchildren Meagan LaMar, Bradley LaMar (Caitlyn), Adam Trader (Caitlin) and Tiffany Love (John); and her great grandchildren Briana, Colton, Kennedi, and Madden. She is also survived by brother George “Bud” Klein (Dessa) and many nieces, nephews and cousins along with many other special and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Edna Klein, her brother Eugene Klein, and her sisters Josephine Knight, Norma Lucas, Mary Baker.
She was born on April 13, 1940 in Lackawanna, NY, the family moved to Maryland in her early childhood where she lived until her death.
She was an active and Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Branchville Volunteer Fire Company along with the ladies auxiliaries of the Prince George’s County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association and the Maryland State Fireman’s Association. She was also active in many other community groups over the years.
She was a pillar to her cheer FAMEily. Grammy was a loving and devoted Cheer Grammy to ALL athletes over many years. She was front and center at all events cheering on everyone.
