Dorothy M. (Fox) Boyer

On February 5, 2020, Dorothy “Dottie” M. Boyer of Odenton, previously of Columbia, passed away peacefully at the age of 79. Devoted wife of 64 years to Richard “Rich” Boyer Sr.; beloved mother of Richard Boyer Jr. and Victoria Marr; loving sister of Harry Fox, Phyllis Malinowski, and Lester Fox; cherished grandmother of Kelsey Koss, Matthew Boyer, and Alissa Marr.  Dottie was predeceased by one sister and four brothers.

Dottie worked in administration for Maryland National Bank, Westinghouse, Mid-Atlantic Toyota, and for the A&P Corporation for the last 15 years before retiring.  She was an active member of her church and enjoying singing in the choir, playing the organ, and reading her bible. Dottie always loved spending time with her children and often volunteered with their various activities when they were younger and later enjoyed attending her grandchildrens' sporting events. She also enjoyed playing cards and board games and watching the Orioles.  Most especially, she loved spending time with her family.
