Charlotte Loretta Sherry

Charlotte Loretta Sherry, a resident of Gambrills, MD, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis, MD. She was 81.

Charlotte was born on August 22, 1938 in Washington, DC, and was the daughter of the late Joseph Jordan and Thetus (Allen) Jordan.

Charlotte was everyone's Mom, Momma, Grandma or Ma Chot, who loved her family and would do anything for you if you asked. She wold do for others  before she did for herself. Even at her age she still worked and everyone from her co-workers to her customers fell in love with her. Her spare time was spent with grand babies and great grand babies or she was crocheting. So not only is her family feeling a loss but he whole community lost a beautiful gentle soul.

Charlotte is survived by her two loving daughters, Kim Calton and husband, Creed of Gambrills, MD and Donna Stewart of Raleigh, NC: 14 precious grandchildren, Jessica Stafford, Christopher Henard, Jamie Henard, Brittany Wood, Dakota Henard; 16 cherished great grandchildren; 3 adorable great-great grandchildren. Along with her parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Sherry and her son, Steven Sherry.

A celebration of her life will be arranged at a later date when we are all able to be together.
