Beverly Carnet Davis

Beverly Carnet Davis, a resident of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the University of MD. She was 66 years old. Beverly was born on October 31, 1957, in Martin County, NC, and was the daughter of Clarence Purvis and Shirley Lee (nee Little) Purvis.

Beverly was a true child of God, and her faith was on full display through her love and compassion. She often says, “God is in control” and her unwavering peace and joy was contagious. Family and friends meant everything to her. She cherished time laughing, listening to music and simply enjoying the company of loved ones. She was the greatest example of salt and light on the earth, and she will be missed.

Beverly is survived by her five loving children; D’Andera Jr., De’Wayne Sr., Delvon, Dominic, and Danielle; seven cherished grandchildren, De'Ja, Briana, Malia, Alexia, De'Wayne Jr., Jordan and Amani; adorable great-granddaughter, Peyton; devoted sisters and brothers, Linda, Clarinda, Shelis, Carlos, Kelvin and Larry.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm.

Interment will be private.
