Yoshiko Korom

Yoshiko Korom (Judy) passed away on November 10th, 2020, with her family by her side at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Glen Burnie, MD after a prolonged illness. A private memorial was held November 16, 2020 at Donaldson Funeral in Odenton and she was laid to rest next to her precious daughter Mary at Nichols Bethel Cemetery, Odenton, MD. Yoshiko was born in Japan. Cherished daughter of Toshi and Sachiko.

Yoshiko was the beloved wife of Frank Korom and devoted mother to her son Tsukasa Korom (wife Peggy) and daughters Julie Poole (Husband Phil) and Mary Lease (deceased). Cherished and adored grandmother to Robert Poole and Shannon Lease (Rich Czerwinski) and great grandmother to Cheyenne and Charles Czerwinski.

Yoshiko managed the Bar/Snack Bar at Odenton Bowl America for 30 plus years.  Her joy in life was her family, her many rescued animals and friends.  She loved karaoke and going out with all her girlfriends to sing. Her most recent favorite past time was playing bingo and she especially enjoyed the camaraderie and friends during bingo. She was extremely selfless and would share her winnings with whomever was sitting at her table.

She was not only our sweet mother and grandmother but she was also our, teacher, nurturer, confidant and our rock and we love her dearly. She will be greatly missed by all.
