Bill Coffey was born in Albany, Georgia on Dec. 27, 1940 to the late Mabel Bryan and James O. Coffey. His siblings include a half sister, Carol Bailey of Florida. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Janice Coffey and two daughters, Melissa Coffey-Townsend of Delaware and Roxanne Coffey-Echols of Virginia.
