August 28, 1939 — May 30, 2022

Pasadena

Wayne Lee Wyatt, 82,  died of natural causes on May 30th, peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at his home of 43 years in Pasadena MD.

Devoted husband of 58 years to Mary Wyatt; beloved father of Kevin Wyatt (wife Gina) and Bryan Wyatt (wife Melissa); loving brother of Ronald Wyatt (wife Mary); cherished grandfather of Ryan, Conner, Nathan and Kaitlan Wyatt.  He was predeceased by his parents George and Myrtle Wyatt and his brothers Roger and Kenny Wyatt.

Wayne started working on his grandfather’s farm as a young man.  He then proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marines.  After the military, Wayne continued to serve as a Baltimore Policeman.  For a while he even owned his own neighborhood grocery, “Wyatt’s Corner”.  For most of his working life, 24 years, Wayne worked as an HVAC Supervisor for the University of Maryland.

Wayne was a member of the Turtle Club, and enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and hunting.  He also liked playing golf and was a talented woodworker. He and Mary also enjoyed traveling together.  Most especially, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
