Virginia Ruth Singleton

Virginia R. Singleton, 82, a resident of Severn, MD, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 9, 2011. Virginia was born on January 12, 1929 in Toms Creek, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late William M. Perkins and Nannie Johnson Perkins.
Virginia is survived by her beloved husband, Nathan Singleton of Severn, MD; three loving children, Karen Valdivia of Odenton, MD, Martin Singleton of Severn, MD and Nathan Singleton of Laurel, MD; 3 brothers; 5 sisters; nieces, nephews and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Odenton Volunteer Fire Company, 1425 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113.
