Virginia "Ginny" Rose Summers

Virginia "Ginny" R. Summers of Bowie, MD, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011 at Heritage Harbour Health and Rehabilitation Center in Annapolis, MD, at the age of 85. Ginny was born on May 7, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Alfred D. Obergfell and Clara M. (Zeph) Obergfell.

Ginny is survived by her two daughters, Suzanne M. Raley and her husband, Leonard of Odenton, MD and Linda L. Summers of Odenton, MD and three grandchildren, Scott Marmen, Elyse (Matthew) Dillinger, and Allison Raley. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Donald Summers and son, John D. Summers.

The family will receive friends at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 14720 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715 on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD immediately following the church service.
