Vimal Gopal passed away while in Mexico on June 2, 2018. Vimal was born on June 17, 1981 in Takoma Park, Maryland. In his 36 years, he lived a life of purpose. He cultivated his skills in piano and saxophone, became an FAA licensed pilot, and pursued a successful career in computer engineering at the MITRE Corporation in San Diego, California.
Vimal is survived by his parents, Dr. Jay and Manjula Gopal, as well as his sister, Dr. Vanitha Gopal.
