Vasos Th. Patriotis

Vasos Th. Patriotis of Millersville, MD, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at his residence at the age of 82. Vasos was born on May 21, 1928 in Yialousa, Cyprus to the late Themistocles and Marina (Tornanri) Patriotis.

Vasos is survived by his wife, Mary Patriotis of Millersville, MD; his daughter, Fay Patriotis of Severn, MD; two sons, Rev. Themistocles Patriotis of Apalachicola, FL and Ronnie Patriotis of Odenton, MD; six grandchildren and his sister, Stiliani Solomi of Nicosia, Cyprus.

The family will receive friends at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Prayers will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2747 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD 21401 on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Annapolis, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
