Thomas P. Gummer

Thomas Peter Gummer of Severn, MD passed away on Friday, January 3, 2014 in Glen Burnie, MD. Thomas was born on October 8, 1941 in Baltimore, MD and was the son of the late J. George and Marie Gummer.
Thomas was a member of the IT Union for 56 years. He was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus. He served his community by working with the Severn Athletics Club. Thomas was also an avid Baltimore Ravens fan.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife Margaret E. Gummer; four children, Deborah Greene and her husband Bob, Thomas Gummer and his wife Kimberly, David Gummer and his wife Katrina and Margaret Gummer; two sisters, Beatrice Garczynski and Dolores Bell and her husband Bernard; seven grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, Ryan, Kayla, Megan, Jordyn and Sullyvan.
Thomas was preceded in death by his brother Paul Gummer.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 6, 2014 and Tuesday, January 7, 2014 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road Odenton, MD 21113. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 9:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1283 Odenton Road Odenton, MD 21113. Interment services will follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
