Thomas James Grant Becker

Thomas James Grant Becker, a resident of Severn, MD, passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 6, 2013. Thomas was born on February 16, 1993 in Baltimore, MD, and was the son of Frank Becker and Suzanne (Sterner) Becker of Severn, MD

Thomas was employed at NPL as a laborer/construction worker. In his spare time he enjoyed skate boarding, long boarding with his dog Magnum, snowboarding and listening to all kinds of music. He was very artistic and liked to draw. Thomas enjoyed time with his family, friends, bon fires, the beach, fishing, camping and crabs. He loved lacrosse as was evident in his goalie skills. He was truly a full blooded MARYLAND boy.

Along with his parents, Thomas is survived by his brother, Jacob Becker of Severn, MD; sister, MaryAnn Becker of Severn, MD; paternal grandparents, Farel Becker and wife, Dolores of Auburn, PA; maternal grandparents, Marian Sterner of Clarksboro, NJ; three aunts, Deb Reager of Pottsville, PA, Doreen Becker of NY and Linda Mezzino of NJ; two uncles, Farel Becker III of SC and James G. Sterner,Jr of NJ. Thomas James Grant is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James G. Sterner, Sr.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013, The Church of the Severn Run, 8187 Telegraph Road, Severn, MD 21144 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Ridge Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21403.
