Thomas William Corbett
July 6, 1951 — January 8, 2015
Thomas William Corbett of Severn, MD passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at his residence, at the age of 63. Tom was born on July 6, 1951 in New York, NY to Doris Agnes (Zolzer) Fluharty and the late Edward Thomas Corbett.
Tom adored his family. He was a loyal hard working man, working for the United States Postal Service for 40 years. He was an avid horse racing fan, enjoyed playing the guitar, vacation adventures and reading.
In addition to his mother Tom is survived by his wife of 37 years, Suzanne C. Corbett; two daughters, Jacquelene Corbett and Elizabeth Corbett-Buie; son, Christopher Corbett; five grandchildren, Noah Wrede, Brayden Buie, Maycee Buie, Fionn Clancy and Mia Buie and two sisters, Maryann Harrington and Doris Foster.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at Hellas Restaurant and Lounge, 8498 Veterans Highway, Millersville, MD 21108 on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
