Sybil Ann Ucciferri

Sybil Ann Ucciferri, a longtime resident of Gambrills, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the age of 82. She was born on November 22, 1943, in Monroe, North Carolina, to the late Marshall Blair Haney and Annie Furr Haney, and was the cherished younger sister of Larry Haney.

Sybil was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur Ucciferri. She is lovingly remembered by her children: son Michael Arthur Ucciferri; daughters Arlene (Dana) Grimes and Sandra Ware; and by her four treasured grandchildren, Jasmine Ford, Kelsey Grimes, Delaney Grimes, and Jeremiah Frend, who brought her great joy.

Sybil graduated from Kenwood High School in 1961 and went on to study accounting at Anne Arundel Community College. She built a dedicated career in accounting, holding several positions over the years before retiring from W.D. Class & Son in Jessup, Maryland.

Above all, Sybil valued time spent with family and friends, especially moments shared with her grandchildren. She found happiness in volunteering, playing bingo, shopping, traveling, and enjoying relaxed summer days at the family’s beach house in North Wildwood, New Jersey.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, Maryland. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 18, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1283 Odenton Road, Odenton, Maryland. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sybil’s memory to Hospice of the Chesapeake Foundation, John and Cathy Belcher Campus, Pasadena, Maryland, or to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Odenton, Maryland.
