Sudhir Vyankatesh Wanmali

Sudhir Wanmali, son of the late Vyankatesh Wanmali and Prema Wanmali, and husband of the late Asha Wanmali, passed away peacefully, on April 8th, 2026.

He was a good husband, father, grandfather, and father-in-law. He was a warm, steadfast friend to all, and a mentor to many. It was in his nature to

care deeply about the world around him, and his curiosity never left him. During his life, he lived and worked on several continents, where he met and befriended many who came to love him and were proud to be part of his extended family. He showed love in return, unconditionally.

He leaves behind his children, Supriya and Samir; his son-in-law, Sarabjeet; his daughter-in-law, Dalia; his grandchildren Aryan, Riddhi, Miles (Bandu), and Aditya (Chotu). He also will be remembered by dozens of cousins, nephews, nieces, and extended relatives from the Wanmali and Dravid families. 

His passing will leave a void that cannot be filled by another, but the memory of him will be eternal. At last, his soul can be reunited with that of his beloved wife, Asha. His life was intertwined with hers, and now they can once again be together.

We will miss him deeply and pray to the Almighty God that He grants him eternal peace.
