Stephen A. Giles

On Wednesday, 27 September 2023 Stephen quietly went to rest at Georgetown University Hospital, District of Columbia.  He served in the United States Army prior to working as a Senior Networking Engineer with the Airiam Company.  Stephen was born on 23 March 1959 to Wallace M. Giles, Sr. and to the late Geneva Cora Giles-Wilcher in Virginia.  He is preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey Giles.  Stephen was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Odenton, Maryland.  Stephen loved playing golf and he would participate in many charitable tournaments which allowed him to travel throughout the United States.  Stephen belonged to 2 golf organizations – Aesop Robinson Golf Club and the Black Diamond’s Golf Club.  He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years Linda Giles.

Visitation will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, 25 October 2023.   Interment will be at a later date at the Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, Maryland 21032.
