Shuntea Leeanna Langley

SHUNTEA LEEANNA LANGLEY, age 42, loving sister, fiancé, daughter, niece and cousin passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from heart complications.  Shuntea, known to those close to her as “Tia,” was born on January 11, 1980, growing up mainly in the Anne Arundel County area for the majority of her younger years.  Tia was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her love to others and always with a smile on her face.  She worked tirelessly throughout her years in service of others and proudly received her Bachelor’s degree from Southern New Hampshire University a few years ago.  Tia always strived to not only make herself proud but always with the thought of her mother Gloria in mind knowing she would help guide her to make choices in life that she would be proud of no matter what!

Shuntea is predeceased by her mother, Gloria Q. Flores (1959-2007) and survived by her fiancé, Shariff Mills, father (Derrick R. Langley), sister (Dionne F. Langley), and four brothers (Derrick Langley, Jr., Daryll F. Langley, Donnell B. Langley and Johntell Holmes, Jr.).  Her memories will live on with her extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles as well as her close friends.

“My sister was one of the most kind, gentle and giving people I’ve known in this life.  She was my comfort and a comfort for countless others as well.  Shuntea was an extremely hard worker and enjoyed the simple things in life.  I pray she finds comfort being with our mother and her baby in heaven, I knew she’d want me to mention that.  She will forever be loved and we will all cherish the memories that you’ve blessed us with over the years!”
