Sam Whatley

Sam Whatley, Jr., of Severn, MD, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at his residence, at the age of 56. Sam was born on October 3, 1955 in Cleveland, OH and was the son of the late Sam Whatley, Sr. and Callie Mae (Henderson) Whatley.

Sam is survived by his loving wife, Althea Whatley of Severn, MD; beloved son, Nicholas Whatley of Severn, MD; devoted daughter; Alexandra Whatley of Severn, MD; dear stepson, Travis Porter and his wife Toya of Baltimore, MD; brother, Edward Whatley and his wife Susan of Cleveland, OH; sister, Pamela Whatley of Cleveland, OH; one grandson, Travis Porter, Jr. and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will be held in the Donaldson Funeral Home Chapel from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Interment will be private.
