Sallie Elaine Bennanzar

On March 21, 2018, Sallie Elaine Bennanzar, passed away at the age of 86.  Born in Pennsylvania, Elaine was a resident of Severn.  Beloved wife of Arthur Bennanzar for 44 years.  Elaine was a member of the Immaculate Mary convent in Pennsylvania for 15 years before leaving to teach at Fairmont Heights High School in Prince George’s County where she met her husband Arthur, who was also a teacher.  Elaine played the violin as a member of the AACC Symphony Orchestra. She was an active member of the Women of Faith and a member of the choir at Our Lady of the Fields.  She enjoyed traveling, listening to classical music, and playing the violin.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Our Lady of the Fields Roman Catholic Church.  Thank you.
