Russell Joseph Watson Jr.

On October 26, 2020, Russell “Russ” Joseph Watson Jr. passed away peacefully at the age of 85. Devoted husband of 60 years to Marie Watson; beloved father of James E. Watson, Mark K. Watson, Robert J. Watson, Linda A. Golonka, as well as George Spellman and Russell Spellman; cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 15.

Russ proudly served his country as a member of the United State Naval Seabees. He worked as a draftsman for Bendix, which eventually relocated his family to Bermuda for six years. Later he worked as a designer for Sears.

Russ enjoyed golf, bowling, watching sports, and challenging his son to trivia contests.  A lover of games, he also enjoyed playing cards, board games, and jigsaw puzzles.  Most especially, what Russ loved most, was spending time with his wife and family.
