On March 14, 2022, Rosemary Emma Logan (nee Gerace) passed away peacefully with her husband by her side. She was 80. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she and her husband resided on Long Island, New York for over thirty six years. They then moved to Drum Point, Maryland where they lived for twenty-two years before finally settling in Odenton. She worked as a Budget Analyst for Double Day Publishing (now Bertelsmann) until she retired. Rosemary was a parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church and the treasurer of the Sea Stars, a women's auxiliary organization associated with the Knights of Columbus. While living in Drum Point, she volunteered for 10 years with SMILE, the local food pantry and thrift store. Rosemary enjoyed cleaning and loved to cook. Kind to all animals, she and her husband rescued many dogs and her cat Spunky.
Devoted wife of 61 years to Walter Logan; cherished grandmother of Rachael Marie Logan McDonald (spouse Ryan); adoring great-grandmother of Rhen and Rhys McDonald; loving sister of Dominick Gerace (wife Marianne); caring sister-in-law of Joan Logan Markley (husband Lynn); and special friend of Ed Acevedo (wife Ruth).
