Rose Lucille Schneider

Rose Lucille Schneider of Odenton, MD, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at her residence. Rose was born on October 30, 1929 in Guttenberg, NJ and was the daughter of the late George Manderano and Caterina (Paino) Manderano.

Rose was a loving, caring mother of five, grandmother of 10 and the wife of a life-long serviceman, Robert Schneider. Rose loved spending time with her family and friends. Rose was an avid bingo player and rarely missed a chance to play.

Rose is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert Schneider of Odenton, MD; three sons, Robert Schneider of Severn, MD, Donald Schneider and wife Rhonda of Crownsville, MD and Brian Schneider and wife Dawn of Edgewater, MD; two daughters, Tammy Ward and husband William of Bel Air, MD and Susan Clasen of Odenton, MD; ten grandchildren, Jennifer Schneider, Whitney Carr, John Leatherwood, Aubrey Schneider, Marc Clasen, Kalyn Schneider, Lindsey Schneider, Brian Clasen, Mary Clasen and Wade Ward; two sisters, Kay Cali and Mary Halbach of NJ. Rose is preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Georgette Schneider, and sisters, Georgette Manderano and Josephine Grohskopf.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, 1070 Cecil Ave. South, Millersville, MD 21108 at 11:00 am. Interment services will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, MD.
