Rose Marie Rippy, 60, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022 unexpectedly at her home. Rose was born June 1,1962 in Washington DC to her Late Father Robert H. Talbert and survived by her Mother Kathleen M. Talbert, Rose grew up in Fort Washington, Maryland and graduated from Friendly High school. After graduating Rose went on to get her Associates in Radiology and began working in X-ray to which she progressed to become a skilled Vascular Sonographer. Later, Rose took her passion for helping people and achieved a degree as a LPN, RN, and then Bachelor’s in science and Nursing degree. As a nurse, Rose touched the lives of many people working with the disabled at Stockley Center in Delaware, The Veterans home, in a Rehab unit and lastly a Neuro Med/Surge unit at Waccamaw Hospital. Rose was happily married to her late husband Steven D. Rippy for thirty-eight years and had two yorkies ,Maggie and Lucy that Rose adored. Later Rose adopted two cats at the animal shelter who she named Elvis and Maranda. Rose was exceptionally kind, funny, intelligent, and pure souled women and could light up a room with her smile. Rose had a love and deep passion for animals, she loved the beach, gardening, watching Investigation Discovery, music, and most of all her family. Rose has left to cherish her memory by her mother Kathleen M. Talbert, Her two brothers Robert H.Talbert (Daughters Samantha L. Eliff, Emma R. Talbert, Lillian G. Talbert), and Patrick M. Talbert (wife Cori C. Talbert, sons Patrick M. Talbert ll., Zachary R. Talbert, Nicholas J. Talbert), and a sister Teresa Robb (husband David N. Robb, son Christopher M. Robb). Along with nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews that Rose adored. Her memory is one that will not be forgotten. The family will receive friends on Friday July 1, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel. 11528 Frontage Rd, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 The burial will be held at the Maryland Veterans' Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, Md. 20623 on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 11:30 AM and will be laid to rest by her husbands side.
