Rose Marie (Johnson) Jewell

On January 17, 2019, Rose Marie Jewell of Odenton passed away at Anne Arundel Medical Center at the age of 85.  Devoted wife of 31 years to the late Elmer E. Jewell; beloved mother of Christine Jewell, James “Jimmy” Jewell and his wife Terry, and Shawn Jewell; cherished grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 8.  She was predeceased by her sons Elmer Jr. and Carl Jewell and her brothers Bill, John, Joe, and Dennis Johnson.

Rose worked in the meat department for various grocery stores for 52 years and retired from Shoppers Food & Pharmacy.  What brought her the most joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Avenue in Suitland, MD.
