Rose Bizzaro

Mrs. Rose Bizzaro, 86 of Odenton, died Thursday August 19, 2010 at her home of natural causes.
Mrs. Bizzaro was born January 18, 1924 in Sulzbach, Germany. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Maria Braunwarth Gehlert. She came to the United States in 1954 and became a US Citizen thereafter.
Mrs. Bizzaro enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren and knitting hats, especially for the children. She was an avid collector and loved arts and crafts. She frequented the O'Malley Senior Center and was a member of the German Wives Club, the plus 55 Club and the American Legion , Howard L. Turner Post 276 of Severn. She additionally worked at the Fort George G. Meade Post Exchange for over 25 years.
Mrs. Bizzaro is survived by her daughter Carmen R. Trent, her granddaughters Heidi M. and Melanie L. Thomas and her family in Germany.
Mrs. Bizzaro was preceded in death by her sister Kathe Trunk and her brothers Franz and Josef Gehlert.
A Memorial Service will be held, to celebrate Rose's life, on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Donaldson Funeral and Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton
