Ronald L. Workman Sr.

On December 16, 2024, Ronald “Ronnie” L. Workman Sr. passed away at the age of 83. Born in West Virginia, Ronnie lived in Gambrills for 30 years.  Beloved husband of Carolyn Sue Workman; loving father of Teresa A. Martin, Ronald Jr., and Cindy L. Zimmerli; caring brother of Rick Workman, Darlene Maynard, and the late Millar Stamper, Fred Workman, Charles Workman, Jackie Workman, and Tonda Callaway; cherished grandfather of Kayla Virgin, Richard Zimmerli Jr., Tiffani Zimmerli, Jacob Martin, and William Workman; adoring great-grandfather of Charlotte Virgin, Adelyn Virginia and one more to arrive soon!

Ronnie worked for Safeway until he retired. An avid sports fan, he loved coaching for the Boys Club in Bladensburg, whether it was football, baseball, or basketball.  When he wasn’t watching his Spaghetti Westerns, he enjoyed watching the Redskins, the Browns, and as a long-time Pete Rose fan, he supported the Cincinnati Reds. Most especially, he loved spending time with his family.
