Robin J. Powell

Robin J. Powell, a resident of Elkridge, MD, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at University of Maryland Medical Center, at the age of 51. Robin was born on March 29, 1963 in Laurel, MD and was the daughter of Ronald Spencer and Joyce (nee Tyler ) Spencer.

Robin was cheerful and kind and devoted to her family and friends. She loved fishing, camping, yard sales and flea markets. She was an avid collector of antiques. Her home was filled with the antique Depression glass. Among her many talents, Robin also enjoyed painting. She lived each day to the fullest. She will be greatly missed.

Along with her parents, Robin is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Jim P. Powell of Elkridge, MD; devoted brothers, Glen Spencer of Glen Burnie, MD and John Spencer of Princess Anne, MD; cherished nieces and nephews, Mandy, Stefan, Van, Olivia and Phoebe; loving doggies, Honey and Dewey Kahn.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Road, Odenton, MD 21113 on Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm.
