Robert W. Preston

Robert W. Preston of Jessup passed away on December 26, 2018. He was born 6 March 1932 in Washington, DC. to Samuel and Daisie Preston. Robert enjoyed Ballroom dancing with his wife Betty and was an avid bowler on his Senior League. He was a longtime fan of the Washington Redskins until the Baltimore Ravens came along. When he was younger, he would skip school to ride horses.  He was even in the show at Madison Square Garden in 1953.  He retired from Metro bus service in 1994.  Robert is survived by his wife of 54 years Betty Lewis Preston. Devoted father of Michael Preston and his wife Jodi, step-father of Randy and Keith Hively, loving grandfather of Randy and Zacary Preston, dear brother of the late James Preston.
