Robert M Jackson

On Oct. 31, 2010 Robert M. Jackson, husband of Rebecca (Raleigh) Jackson passed away at Greater Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Glen Burnie, MD. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sister Judith Hannibal, Lorain, OH; his daughter, three step sons, nine grandchildren, mother-in-law, sisters-in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Aytchia, father Robert Jackson and brother Errol Jackson.

After serving 22 years in Japan, Korea, England, Germany and the United States, he was U.S. Air Force Retired. Jackson was a lifetime active member of the Blinded Veterans Association, Disabled Veterans Association and American Legion. He was an active participant in all of the Blinded Programs at the Baltimore VA Medical Center and a singer and dancer with the Baltimore Blind Beat Dancers.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 2:30pm at Baltimore National Cemetery Baltimore, MD. Memorials may be made to the Blinded Veterans Association, 477 H. Street NW, Washington, DC 20001-2694.
