Obituary

On May 15, 2026, Robert (“Bob”) W. Wilson passed away following a brave fight against cancer. Born October 27, 1971 in Cheverly to Eddie and Donna Wilson, Bob was a lifelong resident of Maryland. His childhood was filled with hours spent at the dirt race track. Bob was an avid supporter of the Washington Capitals, Baltimore Ravens, and all things Team USA. He was a casual golfer and loved to spend Saturdays at the course with his brother, Brian, and son, Tyler. When he wasn’t working on his golf game, you could find him working in his garden or reading the latest John Grisham novel. He loved vacationing in Williamsburg Virginia, accompanied by his wife, Amy, and dog, Munchie. After obtaining his CDL, Bob founded Robert Wilson Trucking and remained self employed until his death. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, aunt Norma, and his in-laws, Glenn, Ray, and Kathy. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Amy, children, Tyler and Sydney, daughter in law, Kaity, parents Eddie and Donna, brother Brian, and nieces and nephews. Shortly before his death, he was blessed with his first grandchild, affectionately named Gideon Robert in his honor.
