Richard B. Hill., resident of Bowie, , passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014 at his residence. Richard was born on January 7, 1939 in Parsons, WV and was the son of the late Harold C. Hill (Mike) and Mary Blackman Hill. He was an avid fisherman, had a great love of the outdoors, wildlife and music. He retired from a lifelong career at NSA, the family enjoyed extensive travel and lived abroad.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Hill of Bowie, MD; loving daughter Dixie Jo McTighe and husband Brian of Bowie, MD; devoted son, Michael David Hill and wife, Julie Ann of Stevensville, MD; dear brother, William Hill and wife Helene of Crofton, MD; five cherished grandchildren (his greatest joy) Connor and Kellan McTighe, Paige, Jenna and Evan Hill; several much loved nieces, nephews and extended family members. Richard will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

The family will receive friends at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1411 Annapolis Rd. Odenton, MD 21113 on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 10:30 - 11:00 am. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am. Interment with military honors will be at the Parsons City Cemetery, Parsons, WV at a later date.
