Pushpaben H. Patel

Pushpaben H. Patel, a resident of Gaithersburg, Maryland, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2017. She was 86. She was born on January 9, 1931, in India to the late Maganbhai and Shantaben Patel. Pushpaben was preceded in death by her husband Hariharbhai in 2012.
She was active member of several local Hindu/Gujarati temples and religious organizations including Anoopam Mission of Coplay, PA, a Swaminarayan Socio-Spiritual & Charitable Organization. She enjoyed reading, teaching, cooking and spending time with her family and children. She was very much liked and respected by both children and adults of closely-knit community. She was proud of her Hindu/Gujarati heritage and culture, and always instilled upon good human virtues and noble values to whoever she came in touch with.
She is survived by her daughter Alka Amin and sons Atul Patel and Susmit Patel; sons- and daughters-in-law; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in memory of Pushpaben be made to Anoopam Mission, 2120 Clearview Rd, Coplay, PA 18037.
