Phillip L. Goodwin
October 12, 1940 — December 30, 2014
Phillip L. Goodwin, 74, of Odenton and Ocean City, MD, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 30, 2014. Phillip was born on October 12, 1940 in TN and was the son of the late Bruce and Wansley Ables Goodwin.
Phillip retired from the Voice of America where he worked as a radio engineer for over 30 years and was a proud member of both the Prince George’s County Trap and Skeet Club and Synepuxent Rod & Gun Club.
Phillip is survived by his wife of 49 years Cece Jennings Goodwin; one daughter, Amy Goodwin Lupi (David) of Maryland; three sons, Tom (Julie) of Florida, Bruce (Erin) of Maryland and Scott (Heidi) of Hawaii and four wonderful grandchildren, Drew, Brock, Malia and Liam.
